Data Protection

Sensyne Health plc is a healthcare technology company that creates value from accelerating the discovery and development of new medicines and improving patient care through the analysis of real-world evidence from large databases of anonymised patient data in collaboration with NHS Trusts. To comply with the law, Sensyne Health ensures that any data analysed is done so in an ethical way, used fairly, stored safely and not disclosed to any other person unlawfully.

The Sensyne Health General Data Protection Policy outlines how Sensyne Health (SH) meets its legal obligations in safeguarding confidentiality and adheres to information security standards. The obligations within this policy are principally based upon the requirements of the GDPR, as the key regulatory provisions governing the security of person identifiable information and protection from the risk of data breach.

Sensyne Health adheres to the NHS DSP Toolkit (SENSYNE HEALTH GROUP LIMITED (8K382), which is an annual submission for all organisations accessing and processing NHS patient data and systems.

INFORMATION SECURITY AND CONTROL

The confidentiality, integrity and availability of information, in all its forms, are critical to the ongoing functioning and good governance of Sensyne Health. Failure to adequately secure information increases the risk of financial and reputational losses. Sensyne Health has put into place policies to which outline the approach in which information security is managed and controlled at Sensyne Health. These policies are established through the ISO27001 Security Management System (ISMS) standard.

Information Security compliance at Sensyne Health is ensured by means of ISO27001 Certification, which includes specific requirements dictated by GDPR and by internal procedures that address further defined requirements mandated by data protection legislation and security management system.
